It’s that Strictly time of year
It’s that time time of year again, Strictly come dancing is up and running and the popularity contest is over and now it’s the dancing competition proper, who will win, I don’t know but my money is on Debbie McGee and Alexandra into the final.
Then there’s the x factor, which apparently has it’s worst viewing figures ever but they’ve changed the format this year so it’s not such a negative it’s a straight competition between two of the judges acts on Saturday and 2 on Sunday, there’s no judges save and the two nightly winners have the vote off for a money can’t buy experience.
I’m a celebrity
But this weekend sees the start of my personal favourite “I’m a celebrity get me out of here!” I’m not sure if it’s seeing the celebs. (Mostly b listers with a handful of genuine celebs.) Or if it’s the brilliant hosting by Ant and Dec. Then there’s the Bush Tucker trials and the tricksters and the missions.
I’m a celebrity sees everyone, except Ant and Dec who probably slum it in a 5 star hotel. Way out of their comfort zones. Any sign of weakness in the opening episode will be vindictively picked up by usthe viewers. The camp may or may not starve.
Me? I think I could do the eating challenges but although I’d love to for eg do the parachute drop in not sure whether I would conquer my fear of heights.
